The brief road trip to Black Mountain, North Carolina and surrounds proved a boon to my endless wondering and concern at where Young Space is headed. I've been questioning what the purpose of it is -- what makes what I do, this project, significant? There is much going on already, but so, so much that I would like to do. Taking some time away from projects and work at home, I was able to see more clearly what I can do, what the community I am a part of could benefit from, and how to effectively start going about that. But it's also wonderful to be reminded that this community is part of a much larger community and it's incredibly exciting and important to reach out and be a part of that. Small steps are better than no steps at all, and I look forward to sharing some new things soon!
